About The Event

Instructor, Carol Uptagrafft, has been Rosemaling for many years with other talented instructors and wants to help our lodge members learn this special folk art.  Your registration fee includes a basic introduction, instruction, and use of supplies to make a small project.  Space is limited so sign up soon. $10 for Harald Haarfager Members and $20 for non-members.

Class will be held in the basement at Trinity Lutheran Church, 812 N. 5th Street, Coeur d'Alene, 1-3pm on March 14. Lodge members will have the first option to register, as there are only 10 spaces available for this class. On February 7, we will open up any unfilled spaces to non-members. If you would like a more extensive class on Rosemaling, Carol will be teaching a four week session at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls, ID.     The Harald Haarfager Lodge # 2-011 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho has been proudly preserving and promoting the culture of Norway in the Inland Northwest since 1910.

    Our business meetings are held the first Friday of most months, and are sometimes followed with a cultural presentation. We also have yearly cultural events and community activities.
