Join Sons of Norway to celebrate Norway's National Day! The Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll on 17 May 1814. The constitution declared Norway to be an independent kingdom in an attempt to avoid being ceded to Sweden after Denmark–Norway's devastating defeat in the Napoleonic Wars.

About The Event

Join Sons of Norway Harald Haarfager Lodge in Coeur d'Alene for a traditional celebration of Norwegian Constitution Day!  After a reading of the mayoral proclamation, flag raising, and parade, we will enjoy the customary dinner of hot dogs, potato salad, chips, soda, and ice cream.  We will then enjoy the musical talents of renown local artist, Carla Carnegie and her accordion, fiddle, and piano.  Members and non-members are welcome.  Reservations are Recommended.  Pleae call or text the lodge phone to let us know you are coming.  208-262-8020
